Johnny, the Cuddly One
Hello, my name is Johnny, and I am the biggest Haflinger here at the Friedrichshof! I love it when children stroke and groom me – that's almost as nice as a leisurely ride. In my free time, I prefer to be out in the paddock with my herd. I'm the boss there and make sure that everything stays in order.
Blues, the Newbie
Hello, I’m Blues, the newest member of the Friedrichshof family! I'm currently exploring my new home and looking forward to meeting all the lovely guests. I particularly like being stroked and I'm really excited for all the adventures that await me here!
Vroni, the Bundle of Energy
I’m Vroni, Johnny’s close friend. In the arena or in the field – I am always a pleasure to ride! Younger and older riders have a lot of fun with me because my calm nature makes me a real treasure, especially for children. I’m looking forward to making your riding holiday very special!
Daika, the Classy One
Hello, I’m Daika, a Polish Konik horse. Although “Konik” translates as “little horse”, I’m anything but tiny at 1.40 metres tall! In the past, my ancestors were used for hard labour, but here at the Friedrichshof, I get to enjoy my life to the fullest. I look forward to accompanying you safely on wonderful rides!
Sissy, the Funny One
My name? Just like the famous Empress of Austria! I’m looking forward to meeting you for pony rides here at the Friedrichshof. I live with my pony friends in the open stable next to the big horses, goats and donkeys, where we have plenty of space to play and relax.
Loki, the Curious One
I’m Loki, a rare American miniature pony – and although I’m the smallest, I call the shots among the ponies! Our youngest guests can gain their first riding experience on my back. I’m always up for walks through the forest and meadows – but watch out, I like to snack on grass!
Bonia, the Beauty
Hello, my name is Bonia. I’m a seven-year-old Welsh Mountain Pony. My breed is known for its stamina, sturdiness and cheerful, intelligent nature. I am happiest when the many children at the Friedrichshof visit me and stroke me extensively. I look forward to meeting you!
Keks, the Cheeky One
My name is Keks, and I am one of the youngest horses here at the Friedrichshof. I love pony hikes with children almost as much as our mares at the farm! By the way, my name is a reference to Hungary’s highest mountain, Kékes. At 95 cm tall, I’m perfect for small riders.
